Finally built me a hog trap gate, been talking bout it for years. Set it up and hung feeder in middle if it 5 weeks ago! Ground look tore up today, first time back since I built it. Not 1 spec of corn in trap and feeder feeds everyday day at noon. Set it today. So if I catch more than 2, who would like the rest, have pics at my feeder 800 yards or more away of pigs every night on game camera. They can't reach my protien feeder. Lloks like they been hitting the feeder in the trap daily.

Checked trap earlier got 1, he must have beat all his buddies to the trigger lol it's a boar but doesn't look too old. He might still eat good?

Not unusual to trap just one boar at a time. They are usually loners and dont hang with the rest of the crowd. Especially if their manhood is still intact...

Well a .22 mag between the eyes did the job just perfect earlier. He GREW while he was in trap, getting him in the back of the truck by myself was a job. Finally just wrapped my arms wrong his mid section and dead lifted him in. Weighed 200 plus! His been eating the protien for sure, had 3/4" fat on his entire body.

Yep same place, tons of hogs! This one was bigger than he looked from a glance, and a quick pic. Once I shot him I was wish I had help to load him up lol. But we got a bunch way BIGGER. Came up to do some mowing and limb clearing, but blew a hydraulic seal on the power steering on the tractor I borrowed. So we spent most of time swimming with Weston at Powell Park lol. Got new seal on order and will have to fix it this week then come back and finish up. Hot water heater went out in the camper too lol sure am glad it's summer time lol.
