Not too many things in this world I love more than bowhunting, so no, the heat/weather doesn't bother me.

Killed plenty of deer in shorts and a t-shirt. I'll continue to hunt hot/cold rain or shine.

I am getting old. I really have no desire to get out there in the heat and hunt. Poison Ivy everywhere in the woods, snakes, spiders, sweat ..... Yeah, I am getting wimpy now I almost reached 50 years old. Bring on the cooler weather and I am game to go, as far as summers go I am content hanging out in the pool and drinking.

I'm 42 and I still go a couple of times a month but it seems like most of my friends feel this way about the heat and I usually go alone.

I do in October in the evening which is low to mid 90s sometimes. I'm not worried about the heat as much as I am the stink though. I can tough it out but I can't stop the sweat.

If I had a local hog place, I would probably hunt in the summer as well.

Given the chance I hunt or fish no matter the weather. Extra ice in the chest if hot, extra coffee if cold.

For folks who hunt in South Texas, they usually don't have a choice.

I'll be 50 in November and this is pretty much how I feel nowadays too!

That was the reason I was putting up my kriviman stand last weekend when it was so blaming hot.

If I didn't deer hunt when it's 90+ I would miss the rut here. I also pig hunt a lot this time of year.

At 57 my thermostat sometimes hangs up. Plus 10 extra lbs I am trying to lose.

Once you get past 50, things really start to change. You realize you're really not all that mad at hogs or anything else.
So, this time of the year, I doubt you will find me in a tree stand sweating my arse off while I could be sittin under some AC drinking some COLD beer!!!
