Careful mounting items in the air intake like that on the ecoboost. I was told by my dealer that it could be used for warranty refusal on motor related items.

Ford Ecoboost. It's not the intake, but cooling air for the inter cooler.

Then yours would block air to the trans cooler or it would on my 2011. No problems if you don't haul often or heavy though
