    Quail in the Panhandle

Looks like it is going to be a banner year for Quail. Seeing both Bob's and Blue Quail. Just driving around the ranch we are busting them on the road. Looks like some are even paired up.
Farmers are saying the Pheasant are better but not back.
I sure hope the rain keeps up, Lake Merideth up 53.51 this a.m. and we had good rain all night.

Awesome! I thought they were great last year, but ought to be outstanding this year.

Looking good in Crosby co. Most quail I've seen in 10 years.

My place north of pampa is loaded down with em. More than I've seen since in many years.

Talked to a rancher last week in Collingsworth county that said he will be offering quail hunts for the first time in over ten years.

Great year for quail in Texas! Spring time in Kennedy county was unreal. First hour of daylight was one continuous roar of Bobwhites. I've seen more coveys in San Saba county this year than the last 5 years combined. I even busted a small covey on a logging road here in Angelina county a couple of weeks ago. Sure hope this continues and they can stay healthy.

My brother said there were quail everywhere at the ranch in Dickens couple weeks ago.

Tons of quail on our place in Collingsworth. Seem to be a lot more quail continuing to build off of last years rebound year.

Yes sir. I was on some family land up in Gaines county last week and I've never seen so many quail. Bobs and blues.

We had a bunch this past season really fun to have them running and buzzing around.

I could hear them while playing golf at Hillcrest Country Club in Lubbock. That's not far out of the city limits. Awesome.

Got some pretty good covey's in Idalou. Hopefully they will raise another set this year.

I won't even bring a shotgun, I just wanna get her back on some live birds... Been since 2010 or 2011 since she has been on a live covey!
