Pros and cons between the 500,800 and 900 ? Single seat. Also is there a better year model to look for ? Or stay away from.

I have. 2009 500 and it does all that need. More power than I can use.

Go with either the 570 or 900. 570 has more power than the 800 and is quieter. 900 has more power than both and is also quieter than both. The 900 has been out a while and had relatively few issues, with most of those getting water in the belt housing. I've had my 900xp in a torrential downpour in CO last year on an elk hunt and never had issues with water intrusion. It's been an awesome machine. The only negative I can say about it is it has gotten stuck twice where my atv never did. Considering it weighs 4x as much, I can see why. Put a 5k lb winch on and haven't had any issues getting out.

I have a 2015 570 eps and love it. Has plenty of power for work and hunting . It's a tad loud for my liking but I can deal with it. I will day in my opinion the 900 will have a better resale value if that's a possibility later. I never intended to sell mine so couldn't get myself to spend the extra 2k for a 900. If I could do it over I would go with the 900 or the new mules pro. Father in law has one and really like it. Good luck

I've got a 2014 900XP Browning edition and I love it. Way more power than I need and really responsive. I've never had it at full throttle but the dealer said it would do at least 60 MPH. The fastest I run it is about 30. No problems so far and it is all I ever need.

Two years in on my 800 Crew. If I could do it all over again, I would have got one of the 500 cc models, in the full size 2 seater. For regular lease ride stuff, I bought too much

I bought and sold the 800 after 1 yr due to overheating problems. Even after several attempts to correct it with the fan but I have had the 900 for 2 yrs now trouble free and is a great ride.

I have an 03 that had never given me issues besides a flat tire. I just change the fluids and filters.

Stay away from the 2011 year model 800. I have one and have a number of issues and know of others with the same year model that have had similar issues.
