It was hard to say "good bye"......

After many years, I had to say goodbye to my favorite boots....
They started falling apart on my last elk hunt and I had to switch to a new pair.
Lacrosse, un-insulated, water proof, cleated bottoms that would not hold mud.
These boots have taken me on hunts from South Texas to South Africa.....twice! I have hunted in wet, dry, hot and cold. Deer, elk, turkey, javalina, hogs, exotics and African game. River bottoms, grass lands and mountains, rocky, mud, sand, you name it, they have taken me.
You may have noticed....I removed the shoe strings....a habit of mine. I use old show strings for all kinds of things. I carry them in my truck, and on hunting trips, in the junk draw at the house, in my tool box...never know when you might need to tie something up.

Haha looks like you put them in my trash can! Looks almost the same with hide scraps and bondo smeared on the side. Only thing missing is a few empty brown bottles

To funny! Only another taxidermist would notice the hide scraps and bondo!
Oh ya, I re-cycle, so all the beer bottles are in a different can.
