    Frigidaire Stand Up Freezer

I got home from Louisiana on Thursday, and put some frozen meat in the freezer I got on the way home.

Saturday evening, the "hi temp" light is on, and the freezer isn't running. I go into freak out mode since this freezer is FULL.

I borrow my brother's small chest freezer, and while I am picking that up from him, I unplug my freezer. (Thanks again Brent..... saved my backside)

I get home (maybe 30 mins round trip time) and decided to plug my freezer back in. Figured what the heck, I would give it a shot. Fires right up, and hasn't missed a beat since then.

Any AC/Freezer Repair people know what might have been the cause? More concerned about is it something that might happen again and more frequently.

    It was manufactured in 2009.

You sure it isn't the outlet is plugged in to? Our house was built in the late 70's and every once in a while I have to swap the freezer from one outlet to the other (top to bottom or bottom to top) and it works just fine.

I dont think it is the outlet. I have always had it plugged in on the bottom plug, and there is a radio and a stand up fan plugged in on the top plug. All items work well (unless the GCFI is tripped. Only time that happens is when I try and plug in Christmas lights on the front porch. Apparently the front porch plugs are on the same circuit....

If it's one of those with the electronic controls on the outside of the door the computer probably just got "confused". I've seen it many times where you could unplug them and it would reset.
