    Yeti hopper

Looking a buying one for road trips among other things. Was wondering how everyone likes it? My other option is a roadie.

Best thing there is to toss in the vehicle and carry around

Do you have the 20 or 30?

I have the 20 and love it. Perfect for road trips and fishing. For me the biggest selling point was waterproof(leak proof) and durability. Ice retention is solid. 20 was the right size for me; 30 just seemed awkward.

I have the 30. Put Ice in it on the Friday before the big 4th of July party and dumped it out on Sunday. I am really impressed with it, and it is much easier to carry around.

            .

I have the 30 and love it. For a day trip or keeping in the truck hard to beat. its easy to find room for it and keeps ice really well. I really like the roadie also but when we are just headed somewhere for the day I take the hopper for sure.

I love my 30. Get an ice pack to go in there for ice cold drinks and to help keep ice longer. I went with the Gander Mountain one vs the Yeti Ice.

I have the Hopper and Rodie. If I could only pick one, I think I would choose the Roadie. The zipper is great, but I wish it was a little longer so stocking the cooler would be easier and faster. No plug so you have to find something to hold the cooler upside down to dry when finished. Hopper holds Ice great, and zipper is very water tight!

Have the 30.. Not awkward at all to me.. Still light and easy with a 12 pack or do like I did this weekend and drop 24 cold ones in with a large bag or ice and take anywhere

I love my hopper. I take it to the river and just tie it to my tube. It's the best

The Hopper has Great ice retention and weight is light as a feather. Time will tell on the durability. Zipper was my only concern but it is really a beast of a zipper. More to come as I put more miles on mine.........

Personally, I was skeptical. I was given one for my birthday, needless to say I am impressed and I will tell you why. I put ice in it and have seen it last 3days in the heat of my 4Runner. Well to top it off, I forgot to zip it closed and after a day and a half in my 4Runner there was still a LOT of ice in it...couldn't believe it. I have the 30, it holds 16#s of ice with drinks, with extra room. Very easy to carry, doesn't leak, not sure about durability but looks good so far. Is it worth 3bills? You be the judge. Calvin

We were at Cabelas tonight and my wife stumbled on a 30 in the bargain cave. It was discounted and had an additional 15% off due to missing the strap. I got it for $230 otd! The guy in the cave said he sold one a couple weeks ago like mine and the guy was able to get a free replacement strap from yeti. It seems pretty nice, but we will see how it holds up to our week long vacation next week.

I love mine so far. Used it on our road trip through the hill country and to the coast. Worked great. Also used it the last two days at the lease while doing work. Put ice in Monday and it kept till at least this morning.

I've got a free 20 on the way, I think it will replace my roadie.
