Originally posted by Tmag View PostBoat ramp is okay, it was pretty solid. There were some folks there pulling their boat out that helped me. I wouldn't let them move me until I gathered myself up, handed them my cell phone(didn't get wet, was in the left front pocket that was still out of the water) and my fishing license. Slid myself further down the ramp and used the dock to get up then sat down on it.
My daughter (an RN) came running up and checked me out, everything felt in place but was hurting pretty good. My wife had gotten there by that time, I was glad I was out of the water. Son in law brought my truck to the ramp and they helped me up, sat on the tail gate and rode back to the camper. Decided to go get checked out.
Now the best part, while we headed to the ER my son and son in law loaded all our stuff up and hauled our camper and boat back home for us. It was a great feeling to get home and know I didn't have to struggle with all that today.
Thanks again for your prayers, shoulder is pretty sore this morning but it will get better.
I started readin' the post above and I was thinking/hoping you were gonna tell us that your son and sil took all that bait and wore 'em out and caught you enuf fish for a big ol' fish fry... Oh well...
In all seriousness though, sure am glad you're OK and will be good to go in a little while.

Still having pain from this injury, seems the muscle tissue just doesn't want to heal up. Pain radiates across the top of my right shoulder and down the inside and outside of my arm, ibuprofen and alieve are useless. I have an appointment with my Dr this afternoon to get them to check it out and have them reevaluate the xrays for possible problems.
Your prayers for healing are appreciated.
