I wouldn't let them move me until I gathered myself up, handed them my cell phone(didn't get wet, was in the left front pocket that was still out of the water) and my fishing license. Slid myself further down the ramp and used the dock to get up then sat down on it.
My daughter (an RN) came running up and checked me out, everything felt in place but was hurting pretty good. My wife had gotten there by that time, I was glad I was out of the water. Son in law brought my truck to the ramp and they helped me up, sat on the tail gate and rode back to the camper. Decided to go get checked out.
Now the best part, while we headed to the ER my son and son in law loaded all our stuff up and hauled our camper and boat back home for us. It was a great feeling to get home and know I didn't have to struggle with all that today.

Thanks again for your prayers, shoulder is pretty sore this morning but it will get better.
Just now seein' this Tim! Glad you weren't seriously hurt! You know, we ain't as young as we once wuz!

I started readin' the post above and I was thinking/hoping you were gonna tell us that your son and sil took all that bait and wore 'em out and caught you enuf fish for a big ol' fish fry... Oh well...

In all seriousness though, sure am glad you're OK and will be good to go in a little while.

Now more importantly, did you catch any bait?
Sadly enough, had 1 carp from my first cast and was getting a little water for it when I went down. Had just watched a couple YouTube videos on throwing a cast net and had it down to perfection. I'll be ready next time for sure.

That's one way to get out of loading up I guess! Glad nothing broke but I know a strain bad enough for a sling can be just as bad.

Still having pain from this injury, seems the muscle tissue just doesn't want to heal up. Pain radiates across the top of my right shoulder and down the inside and outside of my arm, ibuprofen and alieve are useless. I have an appointment with my Dr this afternoon to get them to check it out and have them reevaluate the xrays for possible problems.
Your prayers for healing are appreciated.

Suck it up Tmag. We already fixed the concrete and burried the slim.

Lol, I here ha! Not sure if I'm just using it too much to allow it to heal or if there is a problem. I used to heal a lot quicker back in the day.

Man missed this earlier in month, sorry to hear about this Tmag. Hope everything is ok, but taking this long to heal your probably need an MRI, they can't see ligament damage on x-rays hope everything is ok.

Doc thinks rotator cuff damage, not sure if it's minor or major tear. going to try steroids for a week and see how that works. if that doesn't work then it's time for an MRI
