Anyone know how to trouble shoot or work on a king some in motion Satelite?

My Satelite system for my motor home keeps throwing the el fault code. I has tried all of the restarts and tests and resets and it continues to show el fault. One time I got it to start without the el fault code and it locked on a Satelite signal for about 10 minutes. Went inside the house and when I went back out- yeah you guessed it- el fault code. Any help that the gs could give would be greatly appreciated. The people at King Dome have really been no help!!!

According to this flow chart I found, you either have a cable issue causing a missing voltage, or a mechanical calibration issue that needs to be addressed. There are several models covered in this document, so I am not sure which flow chart best applies.

The instructions for a mechanical calibration are in the document so you might find the model and go from there. Good luck and hope this helps.

Thank You! Been there and done that. Keeps throwing the el fault code and won't recalibrate. Spoke with them again this am and he told me that it was the circuit board. I told him that it showed code 363 from that site you listed and he said he didn't even know what that was. From what I have read they won't just sell you circuit board part. They want you to remove the dish mail it to them and pay them to do it, plus you are out big time shipping. What a pain and a sorry customer service if this is indeed true!!!
