I have had great luck with them. If you remember to reformat the cards every time you download you will have better luck.

I have 2 of the big 35's and 6 of the smaller ultras and I plan on switching out all of them this year. The big ones are about 7 years old so absolutely no complaints on longevity and quality. They did eat some D batteries but when I moved to external packs I was fine.

Ultras have been real spotty. Work fine for months then they get real finicky with low or full battery packs. I think the extreme heat and extreme cold alike are real tough on the ultras.

I believe I will be switching to the Browning Strikeforce cams this year. Had an original Browning that performed great and picture clarity was excellent!

Primos also used to have a great return policy but I believe Bushnell is now making the Ultra's and that send it back for repair or replace has gone out the window. That lost me

Over the past two or three years I have had five or six of them and they have all quit. They either get where they don't read the SD card or the display goes out. Now Primos will give you credit for them by allowing you to buy a new camera at 50% cost of their price on their website. I did that and have the smaller 46 HD's and they are working pretty good. I picked up one of the Ultimate Wild game cameras at the Nacogdoches Hunting show on Saturday- the show price was $119, normally $139 on their website. I put it out over the weekend so I will know in a few days what kind of pictures it takes. The owner of the company is here in Nacogdoches and is looking into becoming a sponsor here.

Rough on batteries but a decent camera.

I also run an external 6 volt on all mine. The cables aren't hard to make yourself. And the battery last a long time before it runs down. I found a cheap storage box at Walmart that the 6 volt fit in perfectly. Got a strap in the camping section so I can strap it to the tree above the camera.
