Anyone know where to get one worked on around montgomery county area

What year and model? What's the issues you are seeing? I have climbed over mine so many times I might be able to point out where to start.

85 daihatsu hi jet. It need quite a bit of work. Looking to get full tune up and transmission linkage is jacked. A/c blows cold though. Lol

Tune up kits are easy. Check GR Imports. I would also start replacing the vacuum hoses one by one. I did tis and allot of the little idle issues I was seeing was gone. The trans linkage should be simple adjustments. Let me see if I can find the linkage info.

ok so after looking you have a cable setup to the actual linkage on the trans. Are your issues the actual linkage or the cables? If cables easy fix if linkage possibly a tranny replacement or rebuild.... Disconnect the cables and see if it moves freely at the trans. If it does just take the cables off the shifter and have new ones made. Appears the cables are the biggest issues.
