Extra penalty for missing the target

I don't think I've gotten into this stuff since I was a kid. At the Cowtown recurve 3d shoot on Saturday I was behind a target looking for an arrow (yes, it was mine) when my lower leg caught fire - stung like crazy. Dang Bull Nettle! I now have this itchy tender rash all the way around my ankle and halfway up my calf. I guess if I'm going to be flinging arrows all over the woods I better wear long pants!

ahh man.. thought you were gonna say someone shot you.... then the thread would traverse into a series of lectures on why you should never be behind a target to the competition being ran improperly to it was probably a Mathews since it didnt hit any vitals to obviously a RAGE since it didnt open to it was probably shot by a homosexual wearing a confederate flag scarf ...

Campho Phenique is helping with the itching. I love smell of that stuff because it reminds me of my youth when I would spend all summer slathered in it.

And yes, I did find the arrow. In fact I missed several more times(the "aiming lobe" of my brain was not functioning well) but I came home with a full quiver!
