    It looks new again!!!!!

This is the backyard project I undertook during April of 2014. A 10'x10' deck with a R Panel roof/arbor, electricity for my smoker, ceiling fan for a little bit of air movement and a fence and gate to keep my 2 kids (2 Rotties) off unless we let them on. I did have to do some repair work from them "chewing/knawing" on some of the boards. All is built out of Redwood with the R panel roof.
With our severe sun, wind and dirt up here in the Panhandle, the deck was looking pretty worn and faded. I pressure washed it yesterday and gave it another coat of Penofin this morning. Now she looks almost as good as the day I finished it. The yard definitely looks better as I had it re-sodded by Tim, tkuehn5410, and it is really looking good.
My wife and I have really enjoyed grilling on the deck, eating, enjoying the nice weather we have been having and downing some drinks on the deck.
I added a small redwood gate to the west side of the deck as an entrance to her flower beds that line the east and south side of our back fence. The hog panels are to keep the 2 above mentioned kids out.
This project was born out of me enclosing my covered patio and making it my man cave/trophy room! Sure is nice to have a place outside the house to enjoy that is comfortable and very useable. I do have a wrought iron table, 2 wrought iron chairs with cushions, my smoker, grill and a cooler I put on for our use.

I posted pics right after I finished last year, but the ground was just that, ground/dirt with NO GRASS!

That's a great job. Looks like the perfect spot to kick back with a cold beer and catch up with the wife after work
