I am so excited I just had to share

This may sound silly, but I just had to crow......last Friday I picked up my dream boat!!!!!! I bought it from a guy on 2cool. Checked out the boat in Corpus on the 14th, made the deal that same day, got a marine survey done on the 17th, got the check cut on the 19th and picked her up the same day!!!!

She is a 2014 23 foot BoatRight Texas Scooter (custom aluminum) with a 18 inch raised console, and the engine only had 20 hours.

Now I just have to sell my bay boat and duck boat.

    Here she is.....

I'm not a boater and not familiar with what purpose a rig like that is built for.

*Puts on heavy duty flame resistant suit*

From a non-boat owner and very rare fisherman, what's the intended use for that boat? I'm guessing really skinny water bay fishing? Flounder gigging?

Yes traveling in really skinny waters either the bay for both fishing and duck hunting, with the opportunity to do a little flounder gigging.

I have not been able to access the back lakes and places like the lagoon and shoal water yet in my current boat so a lot of the bay was inaccessible to us. But not any more. Thank goodness I have towboat.
