I grew up in Meyerland when I was little and believe it or not in the 80s that was a very safe and nice place. Hasnt been for many a year now.

My wife went to Sharpstown HS in the 80's but won't let me tell people she went there...

New report says it was rocks or a rock that was thrown. Every time I throw a rock, people be like "man, stop all that shootin'!"

One man has been taken into custody after throwing rocks and breaking the front glass door at a department store at PlazAmericas Mall.

It happened Thursday at Burlington Coat Factory in the 7500 block of Bellaire near Fondren.

Police said a customer was angry after being escorted from the store and, once outside, threw rocks at the front door, breaking the glass.

No one was injured.

Gunspoint is still as bad as it was, cops will drive up and ask you not to leave your vehicle in the mall parking lot if it is a nice ride because it won't be there when you came back out!

I lived in Willow Meadows, basically next neighborhood over from Meyerland for a long time. Growing up my dad hated the Galleria so we always went to Westwood or Sharpstown Mall. Did you ever go to Physical Wimsical?

Ha and there was another place Peppermint Park. We used to go to Hanna Barbara land as well. Good old times.
