a cull at the leases i used to go too are 4+ year olds with less than 8 points, older spikes, ect. But it's usually different every year. If you hunt the lease yearly you will know which deer are culls and what is allowed off the lease...but all in all i don't think that was a stupid question. Basically if it is a mature deer and he has poor genetics and has poor growth we would "cull" him off the lease.
