    The web page says shooting birds attracted "to, on or over" the feed. I don't know how the exact law is written, and I'd imagine there have been multiple prior cases that are used as precedent in court. I'd call and ask the local GW for clarification of the law, you want to be in compliance, that's why you're asking. GWs in 2 in different locals might interpret it differently. I'm not a lawyer and not qualified to provide legal advise, just trying to walk the straight-and-narrow on some of these technicalities.

      Bill is there an exact distance one has to be from a feeder to legally hunt it.
      I actually called TP&W last week. The guy I talked to told me no less than 400 yards.

          The law reads as "the discretionary judgement of the GW" If he feels if the feed, seed, feeder, ect. effects the daily activities of the game, then it is too close.
