    Nasty Predator---Mountain Lion?

Lady on Inside Edition was describing the filmed encounter of a mountain lion pawing at the glass trying to get to a house cat. She called it a 'Nasty Predator'. LOL

I've never considered a mountain lion to be NASTY. Vicious and determined, yes, but not nasty. To me they are a thing of beauty and something that should be respected.

A cousin in Oregon was telling me that some people in his area actually eat the meat. One guy especially likes cougar jerky.

It's a cat, so yes, they are nasty!

Mountain lion meat is very good! Smoked backstraps are unbelievably good.

I have no problem with the infobabe referring to the mountain lion as nasty. Heck, she sits inside an air conditioned office all day and probably has never seen a live mountain lion. And I've heard that it is indeed delicious. I'd sure give it a try.

I hope they don't have any kids that run around outside ! I'm not mad at cougars, but I could not have that hanging around my house.

On a side note, I would not be comfortable with the idea that it came up to my window after my cat and then it just walked away.... What if it comes back and decides a kid sounds like a good alternative meal to a house cat?
Fortunately, they travel. Even the females have a healthy range. It's the juveniles, that get kicked out too soon, that are a real danger. Easy meals is all they know.

I'd be mad he didn't get the cat. Best excuse for not having a cat I've ever heard is that they attract mountain lions.

I still don't think I'd be willing to risk it...

If that was my backyard (here in TX) I would be replacing a glass door panel from a bullet hole

That's an out the front stalk for a bow kill. If its out of season no name on arrows and show claw marks.

Mt Lion, Grizz, Rattlesnakes, and Wolves are not allowed in the yard.

All jokes aside, this for sure. Not only for family safety, but my wall needs a full-body cougar mount!

My thought throughout the entire video was "how much is it going to cost to replace that window after this 3" 00 Buckshot flies through it"
