    Which Ground Blind?

Have the option of choosing the Ameristep Caretaker with zip in floor 69'' width and 66'' tall or the Ameristep Bone Collector 75'' width and 67'' tall. Just need it to fit me and my fiancé so any reviews or past experience with them would be greatly appreciated. Or if you recommend any other ground please let me know.

I have a bone collector it is an awesome blind and fits me my wife and 5 year old nicely and I can still bow hunt out of it. Easy to set up and take down, and keeps the weather out, cant ask for much more..

I bought the Ameristep two person blind from Academy last year. I would highly recommend it, very sturdy and holds up to the elements without fading. Got it in Mossy Oak Infinity.

So there aren't any stakes used for this blind? How do you anchor the blind to the ground for long term use?

remember you get what you pay for. Most inexpensive blinds left out 24/7/365 will not last more then 2 years or so

In direct sunlight, I agree. Properly brushed in, and in shade, they can last much longer. They may not last long in the sun, but neither do 80k fishing boat cushions sitting in the sun. Take care, maintain, and protect and they do last much longer.

Yes there are tent stakes that anchor it down. I should have specified- there are no poles that you feed through the interior/roof of the blind. Twice I have forgot to take those out and snapped them in Ameristep blinds.

I've owned a bunch and seen a bunch of different Pop up blinds and I've never seen one that had poles you had to install when setting up and I've even owned a few Ameristep blinds. What model had the poles you had to put in and take out.

The Ameristep Doghouse (Yes I know, a cheap blind)

In this video the guy installs them around the 5:00 mark

Maybe most ground blinds don't have them, I have only purchased a handful of pop ups and prefer a brush blind if it is convenient for the location

If your looking for something permanent look at Krivo. If you need a portable look into Double Bull.
