Sam, there's a special bond between a granddaughter and her grandpa. It is different for different folks, but to mourn is a natural part of living. I pray that she will be comforted by the promises of our Lord Jesus that if we are in Him, He is in us and we shall ALL be united with Him in Heaven for all eternity some day. You just hang tough with her and try to fill that void for her as best as you can. This can strengthen the bond between you and her as well. That's pretty special too!
