Cypress area scuba certification?

We plan on going on a cruise next year and want to go scuba diving so I am trying to find a place to get certified to dive. Does anyone know of a good place around the cypress/ Katy area? And about how much it would cost. I've looked around but just seeing if people prefer a place over another.

That's the one I looked at the most, only because it's close to the house. I may go there

They're good to go. You're going to spend about $500 for the class and basic gear.
