Tried out different bows prior to purchasing my Hoyt. It just felt right to me. Shoot it , may be for you . It's whatever you feel most confident & comfortable with. Yes I love much Hoyt and they have a customer for life

They all do one thing...launch an arrow down range.

          Thanks.

Always a personal thing but Hoyts are built like tanks.

I haven't read the rest of the posts, but I wouldn't go in with my mind set on Hoyt. Hoyt is a great bow but there are a lot of great bows on the market. Which bow is greatest for you remains to be seen. Shoot them ALL and let the bow pick you.

It's a horse race with ALOT of great horses in the 21st century........go for feel and fit first. Then worry with speed and name brands.

Shooting my first Hoyt this year (nitrum turbo) and have been pleased thus far. I get to shoot customer bows too so I get seat time with a few different models other than my own to broaden my sample size. Their bows are built well and are quality pieces of work. Are they the smoothest drawing bow I have ever shot, no. Are they the most dead in the hand bow I have ever shot, no. Do they make posted speeds, yes. The draw cycle depends a lot on the cam # you shoot and whether or not you are on top or bottom of said cam.

They hold their value well and should give you years of trouble free shooting if kept in good shape and in spec.

If you can find one of the Carbon Riser bows used you can get a deal usually. I have 2 carbon riser bows and love them. Got them for under $600 each too!

I chose Hoyt over other bows because I was more comfortable with it. I've stayed with Hoyt ever since because I've never been disappointed with one. You might hate Hoyt and like another brand better. You must decide on your own.

Go shoot them all, the right bow will emerge. Good luck!

I've shot Hoyt's for 11 years and they have never let me down. But these days I don't think you can go wrong with any of the top bow makers.

I see your like the bleeding liberals.hehe You took what you wanted from my post to comment on my opinion. My last statement was my opinion.

I was writing fast. Yes to me it was. I cannot shoot a pse. Draw cycle is to much for me. I could not get used to it. And I tried. Course I was shooting the full throttle. I'm a speed person. The Hoyt just took me a bit and I got it. So for me yes he Hoyt is better.

The op asked an opinion. And that is what I gave. My opinion.

He needs to go shoot bows. He may find bowtech may fit him.

Same for me with the bowtech. I had a maxxis 31 that I really liked. I just couldn't get used to the fat grip. I like the bowtech and PSE because they have the skinnier grip. I love my D350 and I shoot my sons dream season really well as well. So like everybody else has said, let the bow choose you.
