As time goes by, I find myself looking forward toward the day I will be reunited with my son rather than looking back on that terrible day. My grandsons are giving me a second chance to pass on my passion for the outdoors and I’m enjoying it immensely.

This was my 4th Father's day since my daughter, Tristan, drowned at age 2.
This is the last picture of her before the accident.
My older daughter works so hard to make Father's Day "perfect", but she is only 10 and a 10 year old should not have to work as hard as she does to help Daddy make it through the day.

Please make sure that your babies are safe around water.
