    Cinder Block Wall Estimate

I need some help from one of you contractors. I need an estimate of the cost to use 8X8X16 rockface cinder blocks for the perimeter walls of a 40X60 steel framed building with a 10' eave height. This will be in the Wimberley/Kyle area. Looking for a way to satisfy the deed restrictions without going to the poor house.

I have a mason working on my lake house, he gets 5 dollars a block, you would need to furnish all materials, I think it usually works out to about 10 dollars a square foot, this would at least get you in the ball park, good luck.

10-12 dollars a block. Turn key in the Houston area.

Would you mind sending me a pm with his number? I would like to talk to him about a 14'6" long wall 18" tall if he is interested.

Thanks and sorry for stealing your thread.

That's a lot of labor cost for a <$3 block.

There are usually additional costs included besides just blocks and labor.
That is average for a commercial job.

have you considered just doing the wainscotting yourself with the faux stuff? May be a little more in material but its in sheets and goes up quick for a DIY
