Seems like a lot of burglary threads lately on here. How many people have a game camera, or something similar, hiding in the bushes pointed at your house or driveway?

Game camera is too unreliable. After our house was burglarized nearly 4 years ago I bought and have a couple of these: http://www.amazon.com/Sharx-Security.../dp/B00IAZ3R0C
pointed at strategic locations in and around the house. I have it set up to record video and send still images instantly to my email account every time it detects motion (day or night). I also have an app installed on my phone that allows me to view the video stream live and listen inside the house.

I've been using game cameras at work for the past 4 years. I set them out at places that have been burglarized multiple times. I've had good success with them until last week. I had one set out at a storage facility that was getting hammered every few days. Gut hit it during the day last week and got my camera. I got the last laugh though, Found the guy Monday and he confessed to several recent burglaries. And he had my camera hanging on the wall of his house.
