    Knife Question

... Ok so I had a customer today tell me that he had a knife given to him in Vietnam. It was a German made knife... He carried it for 19 months until he came home... He had it until last year and then somebody broke into his house
and stole it. (DANG THIEVES, but that's another rant)

This pricked my memory, I feel like I heard of some German made knives that were given in vietnam and now were worth quite a bit... All I know is that it is a German made knife and had a special sheath with an eagle on it...

Sounds KINDA like a Ka-bar, but not quite... Any ideas on what i could be...

The German SS knives of WW2 had an eagle on the handle. It's possible they were still traded during Vietnam, and worth quite a bit.
