    K & N filters

Are they worth it? Got a dodge 1500 with 4.7v8, just wondering if it would be worth it to put one on it

I like mine. Just don't use too much or any at all of the red oil for it. It'll mess with your mass air flow sensor.

You're not going to notice anything different by changing an air filter. Its just a filter you dont have to replace

I've had a couple folks say not to use on Chevy because the mass air flow sensors were very sensitive. With that being said after four times of deleting the check engine light I did away with mine and have not got the check engine light sense.

AC Delco or Wix paper filter flow better and capture more dirt than K&N. We use Wix on our race cars.

This. I did gain a little better MPG too.

Got rid of the k&n panel filter for my 04 silverado. It's sitting in the garage with a cleaning kit I'd anyone wants it

Filter alone wont do much, if anything. Their aircharger kits, will have a bump in HP. Go to their website, enter your truck info, and look at the options. The kits that replace your entire intake let the truck breathe much better, and make it sound mean too!
