This Day in Texas History the Great Camel Experiment

My sister in law's ranch is in Camp Verde. Love that place and the history. When we are there, we visit the Camp Verde General Store very often to eat and for my wife to shop. My kids call it the Camel Store.

Very interesting! I'd never heard that before

I have seen one of those at my feeder. Had a place in clay county that has someon the place across from us. Sun was coming up and it was perfect deer time when a huge object appears from nowhere. As it gets light enough to see, turns out it was a camel just strolling by.

Sure thought I had the biggest, tallest deer in the history of ever in front of me!!

Sure did.

There is some camel remains at the Mammoth museum in Waco. If you find archaelogy interesting, I highly recommend checking it out. The museum is built over and around a huge dig site. It is really neat.
