    Lithium ion batteries

Anyone use 6 or 12 volt for feeders? If so how do they hold up and what kind are you using? I'm tired of replacing old school rechargeables after a year or two, I'm pretty sure the heat is killing them, any feedback is appreciated, thanks!

Not sure what old school batteries your using but my 6V and 12V last 3-6 years with a solar panel. If you don't use a solar panel that is part of the problem because draining batteries all the way down is bad for them even lithium batteries.
