    Large tires

Anyone out there use Sline in their large Jeep tires or deer lease vehicle Minitruck tires and does it work and how much do you put in 31" tires.

    Thanks

If you can find a heavy truck dealer/shop or a heavy truck tire shop, they have a product that's similar to tire slime except alot better. It's designed for use in tractor and heavy truck tires.

I'll try and get the name from our tire guy tomorrow.

Be aware that slime will take the paint off your wheels and make them rust ( if they are painted steel wheels ).

Do not use slime. Have it patched. Smaller tires with any amount of slime will cause balance issues. Previous owner of my mini had probably 16 ounces of slime in the radial tires on it. I changed all 5 cause of the issues.

Not fun to haft to inflate and patch a flat after dark, after a evening hunt I don't drive that fast on the lease roads, I keep slime in my rhino tires since 08 on 2 sets never had a leek but not sure it will work in 31" truck tires.

Almost bought some of this once. It does recommend a 25 mph speed limit.

We've been running Multi-Seal Heavy Duty in everything from 4-wheelers to dualies for years. It will not corrode rims (rust on steel or oxidation on aluminum). One of my customers told me about it years ago. His corrosion lab did the testing for these guys when they were developing it. It is far and away the BEST tire sealant you can put in any pneumatic tire. I even run it in my mountain bike tires.

Stuff's not cheap, but (Knock on wood), since 1985, I've never had to change a tire in the field. The multi-seal always has gotten me back in.

There's a "dosage" chart on their home page.

Cool thanks I guess it gives you an amount that you put in per size tires.
