We're looking at a bigger lot to build our next house.
The realtor gave us the plat ... I'm familiar with everything on it.
It does not show a power line that crosses the backside of the lot.
I measured one power pole, and it's 37 feet from the back fence.
From my knowledge of easements, the power line has either a 20' or 30' (10 or 15 on each side)easement and arial easement. The spit won't affect me because all the easement would be on this property. I'm worried about how much more of the back edge of the lot will get eaten up by the power line easement.
This is a residential type power line. Does anyone know for sure what the easement is on this line?
I've called centerpoint. Talked to one lady that gave me a different number.
Called the second number, only to get a third.
Called the third and left a message. Waiting for them to call me back.
