    Hunting Rain suit

I am looking to purchase a quality packable rain suit that doesn't break the bank. I was looking at Cabela's A.G.O. 2 piece suit but I am open to other options. I will be bowhunting in Idaho for elk this season and want something just in case we get stuck out in the rain.

Don't discount Academy Game Winner brand. For years, I thought it was cheap stuff and got my apparel at Bass Pro or Cabelas. That changed last year when I bought a Game Winner jacket. Quality product. So, I looked further and completely overhauled my camo to Game Winner, including camo rain gear. Good stuff at a reasonable price, top to bottom. I have also had Gander Mountain Tech2o rain gear and was happy with it as well.

Frogg togs 2 piece at academy is $20 and is decent for an emergency rain suit.

For higher quality, look around on Columbia peak 2 peak gear, lightweight and made with goretex, cost me about $100 total at the outlet

Natural Gear rain suit. I got mine from Camofire. Been a great suit.

Bought this last year. A little pricey, but this is awesome stuff.

I get just as wet from working up a sweat when walking etc as I would without the suit in the first place. I just use a suit if I am expecting a light drizzle and wont be moving much...

I've got both the C4E and the A.G.O.
The A.G.O. will get you by but if you're in it all day you'll eventually get wet... Perfectly good suit though to get you through the drizzly days.
C4E will handle it all. If you're going to Idaho, plan on getting rained on and spring for something quality
