So is there anyone here that's good with wood woodling ??
Long story short , I've been Remodeling my moms house . I was cleaning out the cabinets in her laundry room and happened to open up an old box that had an old time cuckoo clock .
Well I sat there until my memory came back to me I had remembered that old time cuckoo clock and had asked my mom about why it was in that old box. Well it's been in that box for the past 20 years , she said she put it in there because it wasn't working .
She told me the story of how she bought it when she was 20 years old and first got stationed in Germany via army lol. Well I pulled it out of the box and decided a precious clock like that should be restored . I called around trying to find a clock repair man and right underneath my nose I found one who has been working with cuckoo clocks for 42 years .
I brought the clock to him and he said this clock is priceless . It's a yager style cuckoo clock made in the Black Forest . I had seen many like it on the Internet and asked him why this one is so special compared to the other ones . Well he had told me some things that just went over my head. I told him I just want it cleaned up and working , my mom doesn't know I'm getting it fixed .
He told me there was a few pieces missing and he had most of the pieces that were missing except the cross peice for the rifle . I have one side of the rifle and been doing extensive research to find another rifle piece . I have had no luck finding the right size rifle piece .
So I was curious if there was a wood widdler here who could duplicate this piece
