Anyone else go crazy waiting on mechanics?

I dropped my truck off last Sunday to get some go fast parts put on and a little work done. I normally work on my own truck but since I moved into an apartment, I don't have a place to do that. It was supposed to be done yesterday, nada. It is supposed to be done today, and I called him at 2 and said it was just about ready. Now almost 5 and still nothing! I'm going nuts over here, I miss my truck.

Yep!!! Body shop was suposed to have my truck done 2 weeks ago. Got excited because I drove by this morning and saw it in the paint booth. Went in to look at it and the body work is still not finished.

Yup, because he said all that is left is to put a new v band on the turbo/down pipe then put oil in it. Takes a solid 30 minutes for that

Yep. Asked a guy to give me a price on a complete delete about three months ago. Still waiting. Glad I didn't hold my breath !

Dealer had my truck for 6 months! I didn't mind because I spread 7000 miles out over 3 brand new loaners! Those miles would have been on my truck had they not dropped the ball! I didn't complain!

I wouldn't be that upset about it if the vehicle I'm in wasn't slower than molasses in the wintertime (my truck scoots pretty good) and if the ac worked in the truck I have now.

Mechanic just called, cylinder 4 contribution was low. He said that the machine shop probably tightened the valve spring down to hard or something when they machined the injector cups and heads

well gona be 4 now, cause I had a flat and they have cold welded the lug nut into the wheel. 500+ ponds of Man(me and buddy), a 3 foot breaker bar, and a stainless steel tire iron CANT GET THEM LOOSE.... All we did was twist the head on a stainless steel tire iron

Dang! That is unfortunate! Hopefully I'll have mine back tomorrow. Machine shop screwed up my head so he had to pull it back apart and get another head.
