          Fyi...small claims court is a waste of time and money on your part. You may be able to ding up their credit, but you'll never get any money. I've tried it three times....Never a positive outcome.

            Then im gonna do $1000 in damage to his face lol. I need an attorney to send a letter for me

              I've filed and won twice. Once for $4,000 and once for $1,000.

              Just make sure you sue the right person.

                I have done it all by the book. I got his #home address license plate # and had Hays County Sherriffs Dept come out and give me a Case # because the guy drove off on me

                  Having an attorney not from your area/the area of the incident is not going to do much for you. In fact, it may do more harm than good.

                    I don't know but I am guessing he means that "the right person" means one with money or assets more than the protected state levels.

                    Winning is not so hard in small claims court. Collecting is unless it is someone with something to lose.

                      I won all three of mine too.....never got a dime.


                      I sued the folks that screwed me over....guess I need to find well-to-do scumbags to screw me over next time.
