I was able to make time for a evening Axis hunt Saturday after having a hot work day at the lease . I have been trying for 2 years to get that dream Axis I've always wanted and it finally happened. I'm super excited and finally able to mark it off my bucket list.
Now, I would like to have it SCI scored however I'm having trouble finding anyone on the SCI website and locally who can do it so DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN DO THIS? I live in Joshua so anyone in Cleburne, Joshua, Burleson, Fort Worth area would work . I use Ram Country Taxidermy however no leads there . We have unofficially scored him somewhere around 165 with 35 and 34.5 inch main beams and he is super think and heavy horned all the way around however I would like a official score.
By far the best (And only Axis Buck) I've ever killed and a for sure trophy in my book and a hunt i will never forget.
