It's crazy green out there, for sure. I don't have any cameras out yet but will pretty soon.
Should be a great year for horns!!!!
That's good to know! I talked to Harrell a few days ago and he said they got a lot of rain! Hopefully their hitting protein hard. I had a couple bucks on camera that will go 160 this year if everything goes good!

Yes very green. Deer are barely touching the cotton seed and protein, turned off corn feeders for the most part.
Fawn survival will be as good as it gets. Grass is tall and easy to hide the fresh fawns. Gonna be tons of twins hit the dirt.
I hope it stays relatively cool for a while.
Lots of roads jacked up from the rain so drive cautiously and be ready for some new ruts on the caliche roads and pasture.
If it gets dry and hot there is going to be a metric buttload of fuel for wild fires.
Good year for deer!

Yep I've noticed this around my house. For as much rain and the extended amount of Tim it fell I would think the deep ground moisture would be higher than it is. 2 weeks of sunshine and warm not even extremely hot weather and things are browning already. I need to get to our place out west to se it with its Sunday best on before it burns up.
