It's almost time to head to Alaska for halibut trip!!

Only 30 more days until we will be in Seward Alaska for 8 days!! We will be chasing halibut and I think some king salmon as well. This is going to be a trip of a lifetime and I absolutly can't wait!! Does anybody have any other suggestions to do while we aren't fishing in Seward? I still can't belive that I get to go to Alaska!

My SIL went on a bear outing whey she sat amongst a huge group and watched them catch fish. We just fished and fished....

I highly recommend a boat ride to Kenai Fjords National Park to check out the glacier. It's a 8.5hr trip for $130 per person out of Seward.

It may be too early to hit the Russian River for Reds but if they are running it's a blast. It's worth going to just walk around and take pictures anyway.

We will be in Seward for a few days first week of August then on to Homer. Looking for fishing charter recommendations for 6. Any help appreciated!
