    Lake Travis Level

I know Lake Travis has come up a lot but I don't know enough about the lake to know what the level now means for being able to get out and be on the lake. I am putting together a bachelor party for a buddy of mine and was thinking about renting a cabin on the lake. Do you guys that live around there think it will up enough to get out on the water in August?

Travis is only about 12 1/2 feet low. It has gone up right at 40 feet so far this year.

This is awesome! Wish Buchanan was in the same shape.

it's good to go now and should be even better as the flotsam/debris/mud clears in the next month or so.

That is really crazy. I went to Austin a few months ago and I could tell it was seriously low and I'd never been there before. It's crazy to think it's gained all that ground back!

Was out there just this last Friday and Saturday. Real nice lake and plenty of water for us. The place was crawling with boaters on Saturday.

We hit Pace Bend all the time before the lake dried up. Gracie Cove was our spot. I was there in December and the shore was at least 200 yards from where we used to cliff dive. Now the cove is filled back up and jumping off the cliffs wil be possible after the floating debris and brown water clears up.

I put in at Collier Boat Ramp (Pace Bend) on Friday. Lake looks great. Here is a shot of Cow Creek.

Jackie, Pace Bend(specifically Gracie Cove) is one of my favorite places for this reason. Unbelievable fun and some friends and I are itching to head back out there. Its been a few years for sure.
