    Breezeway fence help

I need to put one up but the previous owner cut the posts off flush with the concrete. Can I dig em out or should I just cut new holes?

depends on how much work you want to do. you could bust up the concrete sections and pull the pieces out.

You might be able to put a big eye bolt into the wood and pull them up with a tractor

    Good luck.

I can't answer your original question, but I can tell you that an easy way to get the existing wood out of the hole is to burn it out. Just pile some hot coals on top and keep it burning for a day or two until there's nothing left but ashes in the hole.

I love reading TBH for out of the box thinking. Great ideas.

To the OP - Do you want privacy or security? You could always go wrought iron, might be easier.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are going to put in a cheap 4ft fence just to keep the dogs in then will put in a nicer privacy fence after putting in a pool. Burning might be the way to go

These are a little pricey but they work.
