    Farm bureau credit rating?

Been with FB for over 4 years. Have 3 policies with them. Recently my auto policy shot up $100 / 6 months. No claims, we're getting older, vehicles getting older. Agent says it was my credit rating that cause the increase. I have excellent credit and even the agent said wow you do have great credit. I have been going back and forth with them for almost a month on reasoning.

Anybody else had this problem recently? What was the solution?

I was with them for 20 years on my auto. I've had 3 vehicles with them for the last 6 years, a HO policy and boat. Moved everything but the HO because they went up without justification.

Same here. They will send you a letter explaining the reason and you need to pull a credit report to see if there are any changes that you were unaware of. They said my credit had dropped was the reason for my increase but there were no changes on my report in the last 12 months. No claims either.

But I am going to keep them because next year State Farm and Allstates rates will probably increase. AND my agent is ok!

I had the same thing happen a few months ago. And my credit score has gone up so I know that's not it. I'm shoping for different insurance. I have been with them for 8 years.

It's probably because you have be with them so long they figure the odds that you will make a claim

That's BS10 if they straight up lie about why they raised the rates though...

Farmers did the same thing to me and could not give me a reason. Moved auto's to 21st Century Insurance, which I found out owns Farmers. I kept my HO with Farmers but should be getting a bill for it soon. If they went up on HO, I will be looking to move everything once again.

Farmers did that to me also. I switched to nationwide and saved $240 bucks.
