Entergy Customers

Just got an update off Entergy's website:

99% of their customers are out of power
That equates to over 500,000 customers in TX, LA, and Ark. By tomorrow they will have an increase in workers in TX. Up to 14,000 plus in TX, 6,000 in LA, and 800 in Arkansas.
They are workin on it but we all know that it will take time.

Rumors have it to be out for 3-4 weeks.

I know in our sub division after Rita it was down for 3.5 weeks. That is bad.
Especially for my wife. I have electricity, but then again I am in Kansas....
I due know that Kansas Power and Light is sending workers that way first thing in the morning. Maybe with all the extra assistance, the time frame will be shortened..

My mother-in-law lives in Beaumont..she knows an insider and he told her 2 to 2 1/2 weeks..I don't mind cause I'm getting some good cooking with her being at my house here in the DFW area.

I told my wife that if I was at home we would not be at my BIL, and everything would be grilled......

2-2 1/2 weeks is not too bad considering all the damage I have seen. I sure hope so..

THere was a transformer in Conroe that was detroyed and a new one is being built and shipped in from out of state, so I suspect it will be a good 3 - 4 weeks as rumored.
