Our place in South Texas near Catarina is looking more like a jungle. It will be an awesome year. Let some 6 and 7 year olds walk last year. It should be real interesting what they do with the great range conditions.

Western Mills Co. And we just added 630 acres for this year totaling 1470... Should be a good year. I'm needing to fill our protein bad but haven't the time.

I'm only working 12-14 days/month for the rest of the year. Got an exotic hunt booked in August, dove hunt in September and back to our ranch north of San Angelo for as many days of deer season as possible.

I haven't broken out of the 140 class yet, so with the great pre antler nutrition, I'm hoping to break 150 this year. That's my goal.

This will be the first year I harvest a 150+ deer.. That's right I called it.. It has to go my way at some point so it might as well be 2015. SEKS

Yes for over 10 years. Landrover is still there. I'll still go out there with him.

I have a couple weeks vacation strategically planned for the fall. I've been lucky the last three years and killed bucks on the opening day of bow season two years and muzzleloader the other year. Duck hunting has been the priority after that, but want to spend more time deer hunting this year. We can kill 2 bucks and 4 does in AR, but after the first buck and doe I have been switching to killing miller lites at camp rather than hunting, until duck season opens.

My goal this year is to kill a 130+ public land buck. I put in for both muzzleloader and rifle WMA permit hunts today for two areas that I'm fairly familiar with, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what I draw. I feel good about my chances at both WMAs as both have good numbers and are carefully managed, and I'm looking forward to the challenge of scouting out new areas. Antler regs are 15+ inside spread or 18+ main beams, which I like.

Still on the lookout for a place to hunt afternoons in Bowie county when I'm in Texarkana for work, but haven't had any leads.
