Wow. They are taking action against the ONLY two police that did anything to protect the public. Idiots (the upper brass not the police that do the work).

I saw nothing wrong in that video! If the dept has rules against the maneuver used to stop the car, then disciplinary action could be justified against the driver of the armored car. If the meth head ran into the butt end of a teargas launcher, well, too bad.

This is absurd. The amount of pansies this country has created is sickening. Pretty soon no one will want to be a cop and protect the public for fear of legal action. It went on for two hours... the guy had a sizable amount of illegal drugs... I don't understand why we are not cheering these LEO's. I can't imagine what things will be like in 30 years. I need to buy a bunch of land and become a hermit.

Apparently most Texas agencies do not teach this - so it is frowned upon. Me personally - I think all of the officers involved should be commended on a job well done!

When I watched the take down with the other GSers it did not seem like any civilians were harmed. The guy didnt get up all bloody on live TV. Not sure where the complaint would have came from.

No complaint. Just a violation of stupid department policy which is in place to reduce perceived liability at the expense of public and officer safety.

Pretty simple. A cop asks you to pullover, then you pullover. You don't, well things will happen. Sounds more like Ft. Worth needs a new police chief.

It should be done immediately when the person shows any sort of danger to any other person on the road. The 2nd he went the wrong direction or starting cutting across lawns, they should have ended it. They waited to long to do the right thing imo.
