What arrows do you shoot and why?

Really, I'm just bored at work but also thinking about switching arrows before I buy some more.

Currently I'm shooting 400 Easton FMJ on an Elite E35 at about 65lbs. It's pretty slow but my KE is hard hitting and I'm completely fine with that. I will be shooting 100gr Ramcat broadheads this year.

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for other arrows to try. Mostly hunting but will shoot a lot of 3D when I can. I've been thinking about switching to bloodsports. I've bent a few FMJ on hogs and that's the equivalent of a splintered arrow to me. Really looking for a tough arrow for around the same price point.

Those 400s aren't to weak a spine for you? Whats your draw length?

I'm right on the edge of needing 340. I'm a 28 inch draw my bow is under 65lbs technically. Probably around 62 or so.

I shoot the victorys because they are tough as hell. Also they are at a great price. I buy bare shafts from huntersfriend.com.

Easton Axis 340's. Never liked the FMJ's because they bend and are so heavy. I rarely break an Axis arrow and they still have plenty of weight for great penetration.

I've shot just about everything out there and can't see myself shooting anything other than a Black Eagle shaft. Unsurpassed tolerances in spine, weight and straightness ultimately lend itself to an inherently accurate arrow. Couple that with a shaft that is tough as nails and you have the perfect hunting arrow.

you simply will not find a better shaft for the money, period.

28" 5575 Gold tip Ted Nugent signature series arrows w/100 grain broadheads. Fired from a 62 lb Mathews Z7, 29" draw length. Gold tip because that is what I have used for years, Nuge style because I like the way they look and blood shows up on them extremely well.

I am currently shooting fmj injexions. I like the skinny arrows and I am going the fmj route to get the weight up. My arrows are 505 grains and that is what I will be shooting for brown and grizzly bear. For more general hunting I shoot the all carbon injexion 330. They are tough, fly great in the wind and penetrate very well. Plus, those arrows come in at 450 grains which is my sweet spot for hunting arrows.

                          Carbon Express Blue Streaks - E32 Elite 29" @ 65#
The lightest and straightest in the Carbon Express Line, most of my deer shots are under 25 yards, but I practice regularly to 80 yards and few 3D club shoots for fun. I want a flat shooting arrow.
