    Black crappie in Richland Chambers?

Has anyone caught black crappie regularly there? Out of all my years fishing it in several locations, I've only caught one black. All the rest have been white.

The black was caught in the Cedar Creek area.

You might try the crappie section on texas fishing forum, keith speer is the crappie expert on RC over there...

If you have only caught one black in Cedar Creek, you might be doing it wrong.

Cedar Creek is loaded with blacks. I also caught them pretty regularly on Fork and Roberts. Not sure abotu RC. I've only fished bass tournaments there.

You're right, if it was Cedar Creek Lake I'd have some issues.

            Nice fish!

Those CC crappie pictures are KILLING me. 3 years I've been on that lake and I can't seem to find them for the life of me. I think I'm targeting the wrong docks!

Can't help with RC. I catch more black crappie around me than whites. Cooper and roberts are about the only 2 lakes I think I usually have more whites on and I don't fish them too often. May is always my favorite month to fish. Can catch em any way you want too.

Most of these look like white crappie. But still plenty of blacks. Nice haul!

When I fish the creeks for crappie on RC, there's no telling what I'll catch. Some years you'll catch oodles of grinnell and catfish and largemouth bass. Usually snag a few gar and drum too.

There are a lot of black crappie on RC. And, I'm not trying to be funny, but most all of the black crappie I've caught on RC (Navarro Mills and Lake Aquilla as well) are all caught on the south side of the brush pile.

PM me and let me know if I'm looking in the wrong area. I dock shoot in my kayak around Mantle Manors where my in laws live south of GBC and stay real close to that area. Catch NOTHING.

                            Most?......Look again..

The big pile was 60-65% blacks as is most of our takes from that lake. But in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. They both eat fine. He just asked where to catch some blacks.
