    It's cobblering time

After the storms passed this morning, we took the grandkids to a blueberry/blackberry farm near Edom. Tons of fun.

Oh man, I could eat all of them by myself. I would love me some cobbler with blue bell vanilla on top!

Man I miss those days. I used to have a patch in my old back yard about 400 square feet I would come home and see my little girls with purple lips. Good times. Enjoy.

Me too! I even like to sprinkle a little sugar across them and add some half & half in a bowl. Eat them like cereal

Have eaten a 55 gallon barrel of Blackberries in my life.

                Funny story.
My twin brother and I were 6ish and one Sunday morning we waited in the yard for our parents to take us to church. {Church Clothes} Jim and I had a huge Blackberry fight throwing them at each other and rubbing them into our hair and clothes. Our parents took turns spanking us........

I don't eat the seeds, boil the berries and run them through a colander. Nothing but juice.

I had some homemade jelly made with them that was delicious and didn't have seeds. I don't guess you could make cobbler this way though could you?
