Out BLOB finally made it!

After dealing with poor service from FedEx our new 24x24x10" BLOB target showed up yesterday. They come shipped in a matte grey color and today I got done painting and spotting the face.

My Reinhardt held up well but in the end Valhalla's EFOC arrows proved to be too much for it. Hopefully the weather will hold out and I can finish the stand, can't be too puny because this thing weighs close to 100#'s. Look forward to abusing it soon and giving a full review. For those of us that shoot over 150 arrows a week finding a good target can be a bother. Hope this thing holds up as well as they say!

Just spread out the shooting and you'll love it. Probably won't hurt to have an arrow puller for a bit either.

No kidding on the arrow puller... Bout pulled my shoulder out when I had one.

Soap and/tire cleaner also help to remove you arrows from this target.

Generally no. The wax melts off from the heat generated entering the target and is just a gummy waxy mess.

Should last you a long time. If you leave it outside them dots will fade pretty quick. I like the florescent paint you use to mark the ground with. Paint the dots quick and super easy to see.

Would it help to wax the arrows?

Our treadmill came with a small container of liquid silicone lube. I put a little dab on a paper towel and rub on my arrows--sure makes them easy to pull. I think auto body shops use a similar compound to lube the rubber door seals prior to feeding them into the slots.

I have been looking at a Blob target for awhile. Does anyone use VAP's with the outserts in theirs? I am worried that the outserts will come off when trying to pull the arrow out

I shoot outserts on Black Eagle Deep and X impacts, of your outsert pulls off the installation was not correct or the outsert was made incorrectly. I've pulled these thing out if solid wood burrows to the hilt, no issue.
