Got an invite to go down tomorrow for a day of fishing.

Anyone have a good report on either area, or what they are biting on?

Going to throw artificial only and target trout and reds.

Any help?

Bro, its been super windy and churned up. Also, lots of fresh water. Tough everywhere, but if you wanna get away and relax, bring it.

An out of town buddy of mine and I went with a guide last Saturday out of Aransas Pass. It was a little slow. We caught trout limits, but it took until around noon. We were using live croakers. We then went to hunt for redfish, and they were nowhere to be found. Our guide said that they hadn't been able to find the reds the previous week. He seemed to think they had moved offshore because of all of the rain and weather, but they'll be back at some point.

Land cut was good last week. Limits of trout by 10.

Ive been on some reds fishing the Aransas flats the last few weeks. It hasn't been easy but were finding them. Midday bite has been best. Were not chunking plastic though.
